Workshop su Web e Psicoanalisi

Quest’anno il Congresso della Fep è cominciato un po’ in anticipo per chi era interessato al rapporto tra Web e Psicoanalisi.
Analisti e Candidati provenienti dalla Serbia, dalla Svizzera, dal Belgio e dall’Ungheria (che hanno appreso dell’iniziativa direttamente dalle loro Società o dal programma del Congresso) si sono ritrovati a Torino per partecipare al workshop organizzato dalla redazione di SPIWEB.
Io stessa, impegnata nella redazione del giornale e nel comitato per l’ “outreach” della Società ungherese, ho compreso che il web è uno strumento importante per facilitare la comunicazione di una Società Psicoanalitica e renderla visibile, vivace e influente. Per questo non vedevo l’ora di conoscere in che modo la Società Psicoanalitica Italiana ha cercato di raggiungere questo obiettivo.
Immediatamente, al mio arrivo, sono stata accolta dal caloroso benvenuto di Cristina Saottini e Paolo Sard e sono stata piacevolmente colpita dall’ atmosfera amichevole e informale che ha caratterizzato l’ intero programma. Mentre i partecipanti si stavano radunando nella sala conferenze, abbiamo discusso approfonditamente di alcune questioni “calde” che incontriamo interessandoci di comunicazione sul web: ad esempio la delicata questione delle tutela della privacy o la presenza di interviste di analisti su Youtube.
Dopo una breve introduzione, abbiamo ascoltato la presentazione di Stefania Nicasi che verteva sulla storia del sito della Società Psicoanalitica Italiana , sulla sua organizzazione e sul suo stile di lavoro .
La presentazione di Stefania è stata vivace e divertente, il testo era accompagnato da immagini originali e ciò ci ha fatto sperimentare l’importanza dell’ espressione visiva accanto a quella verbale.
La parte della relazione intitolata “ geografie di Spiweb” ha rappresentato il momento più appassionante del workshop: i colleghi italiani presenti erano pronti a rispondere alle nostre domande e a condividere con noi le proprie idee, preferenze e punti di vista personali. Così ci hanno dato anche la possibilità di conoscere un poco la vita e l’atmosfera della Società Psicoanalitica Italiana.
Sebbene molti di noi non fossero particolarmente esperti di informatica, web design e gestione di un sito , Paolo Sard è riuscito, con la sua presentazione tecnica, a darci un contributo utile, chiaro e divertente allo stesso tempo. Abbiamo imparato a pensare a nuove sfide e programmi futuri di sviluppo; è stato inoltre molto convincente l’accento posto sull’importanza di essere presenti nei social media.
Siamo rimasti colpiti dalla flessibilità, dalla creatività e dalla chiarezza del modo in cui Spiweb si è sviluppato grazie anche alla dedizione e all’entusiasmo degli analisti che hanno lavorato a questo progetto. Sono convinta che l’enorme lavoro fatto dai colleghi italiani non avrebbe potuto essere svolto senza un atteggiamento creativo e responsabile allo stesso tempo.
Fortunatamente i colleghi italiani hanno curato non solo la nostra mente, ma anche il nostro corpo: ci hanno offerto ottimi panini e caffè perché fossimo attenti e coinvolti .
Il workshop è stato utile e piacevole e per questo sono arrivata a casa entusiasta e fiduciosa pensando che portare la psicoanalisi più vicino al mondo contemporaneo (con l’aiuto di Internet) non è solo vitale per le nostre Società , ma è anche un’ opportunità di crescita personale e di incontro.

Workshop on Psychoanalysis and the Web

This year the EPF conference in Turin started a little earlier for those interested in the relationship of psychoanalysis and the web.
Learning directly from the societies or from the programme, analysts and candidates gathered from Serbia, Switzerland, Belgium and Hungary to take part in the workshop organised by the representatives of SPIWEB’s editorial board.
I myself, busy in the editorial board of the Hungarian society’s analytic newspaper and outreach committee, have found the web a central issue when aiming to facilitate an update of a psychoanalytical society’s presence, so that it becomes lively and influential. Thus, I was looking forward to learning about the Italian way of doing this.
Right on the arrival, I was caught by the friendly and informal atmosphere of the way Christina Saottini and Paolo Sard greeted me, which – to my great relief and pleasure – characterised the whole programme. As participants were gathering in the room, we have found ourselves deep in discussing “hot” issues, like analysts on YouTube, privacy policy, etc.
After a short introduction, we started the workshop with listening to Stefania Nicasi’s paper on the Italian website’s history, organization and working method. We were all happy to see that Stefania has made her presentation lively and amusing by illustrating her words with funny pictures, thus letting us experience the importance of visual expression beside verbal. The presentation on the geography of Spiweb has proved to be the most exciting part of the workshop: every Italian colleague was ready not only to answer our questions, but also to share their personal ideas and views, and also their personal preferences concerning certain chapters of the website. By doing this, they have given us a little insight into the life and atmosphere of the Italian society as well, which is always such an interesting thing to have.
Although most of us were not particularly technically oriented and skilled in web design and management, Paolo Sard has managed to keep his presentation technically informative, clear and enjoyable at the same time. We have learned about new challenges, and future plans of development, and were convinced of the importance of being present in social media, as well.
We were all impressed by the flexibility, creativity and clarity of the way Spiweb has been developed and managed, not mentioning the dedication and enthusiasm of the analysts working on it. The enormous work put into it has convinced me, that it cannot be done without the playful yet responsible attitude that seems to be so essential to everybody there.
Fortunately, the Italian presenters have taken care of not only our mind but our bodies too; we were offered nice sandwiches and coffee to keep us active and involved.
Having taking part in an informative and friendly workshop it was, I arrived home enthusiastic and confident, and thinking that bringing psychoanalysis closer to our present day society with the help of internet is not only vital to our societies but also gives opportunity for personal growth, self-fulfilment and joining.
