VI Biennial of Psychoanalysis and Culture, Ribeirão Preto Convention Center May 18, 19 and 20, 2023,

Next May, our VI Biennial of Psychoanalysis and Culture (VI Bienal de Psicanálise e Cultura) will take place, with the possibility of participating in person or online, and we would like to know if we can count on the collaboration of your Society to disseminate the invitation letter below to its members.
I hope you can share this meeting with us, which will have “Possible Humanities” as its theme.
INVITATION LETTER:
The VI Biennial of Psychoanalysis and Culture of the Brazilian Society of Psychoanalysis of Ribeirão Preto will take place on May 18, 19 and 20, 2023, at the Ribeirão Preto Convention Center, in a hybrid format.
The theme “Possible Humanities” was chosen to continue the important questions and exchanges between Psychoanalysis and Culture, with the purpose of thinking about the contemporary man.
In 2008, our first Biennial asked us: “Soul, are you there?”. And this instigating and provocative question still evokes us and moves us to seek dialogue with our humanity, or even with our possible humanities.
The confirmed participation are: Marcelo Gleiser, Lorena Preta, Ana Rita Nuti Pontes, Cláudio Eizirik, Leopoldo Fulgêncio, Vladimir Safatle, Maria Luiza Gastal, Mirian Malzyner, Ana Flávia Magalhães Pinto, Eliane Nogueira, Noemi Jaffe and Nurit Bensusan.
Throughout the event, there will be several cultural insertions, such as dramatic readings, dance, music and others, performed by artists Catharina Conte, Renan Barbosa, Kadim Ndiaye and Renata Martelli.
At the opening of the VI Bienal, we will present, at Teatro Pedro II, a Concert with Ligiana Costa, renowned singer and musician, graduated in lyrical singing, with specialization in baroque singing.
Those registered for the in-person format will be offered one ticket per person and those registered for the online format will be provided with a link to watch the opening live.
