ON TRANSFERENCE

The first International Comparative Clinical Methods Symposium, for psychoanalysts interested in sharing and discussing their clinical approach to psychoanalytic work, their theories of technique, and their ways of understanding psychic functioning during the session, will take place at the Vienna Psychoanalytic Academy on June 20-22nd, 2014.
This symposium will include small group workshops of colleagues from different Societies interested in hearing a clinical case presentation and reflecting on their technique and theory (as well as others) from different points of view. There will also be presentations of the work emerging from the moderators groups who have been participating in WPCCM workshops. These workshops were part of a ten year EPF project and were offered at EPF conferences. That project has now come to an end but the CCM Symposium continues the work.
In Vienna we will organize workshops making use of the Comparative Clinical Method and meeting together we will focus particularly on how the notion of transference is understood and used in clinical practice by different psychoanalysts. For example:
When we talk about the transference, are we really talking the same language?
Is it important and useful to interpret the transference, when and why?
Are we the object of the patient’s past or a new object helping change to take place?
What about countertransference enactments: are they useful, damaging, irrelevant, inevitable?
Questioning our differing approaches through the Clinical Comparison Method helps to maintain a dynamic attitude to our psychoanalytic activity and allows us to explore differences and common ground.
The symposium is open both to those who have previously participated and to newcomers. Registration is now open.

SUL TRANSFERT

A Vienna, presso l’Accademia Psicoanalitica, dal 20 al 22 giugno 2014 si terrà Il primo Simposio Internazionale dei Metodi di Confronto Clinico per psicoanalisti interessati a condividere e discutere il loro approccio clinico in psicoanalisi, la loro teoria della tecnica e il loro modo di comprendere il funzionamento psichico in seduta.
Il simposio prevede dei workshop in piccoli gruppi formati da psicoanalisti provenienti da diverse Società ed interessati all’ascolto della presentazione di un caso clinico con l’obiettivo di riflettere sulla teoria della tecnica considerata da diversi punti di vista.
E’ prevista anche la presentazione del lavoro che deriva dall’esperienza dei moderatori dei gruppi WCCMP. Questi gruppi erano parte integrante di un progetto decennale svoltosi durante le conferenze FEP. Il progetto è terminato ma il Simposio CCM continua il lavoro fatto.
A Vienna utilizzeremo la metodologia dei gruppi WCCMP per concentrarci in particolare sul concetto di Transfert, così come è utilizzato da diversi psicoanalisti nella pratica clinica.
Ad esempio:

. Quando parliamo di transfert stiamo davvero usando lo stesso linguaggio?
. Quando e come è importante interpretare il transfert?
. Come psicoanalisi rappresentiamo un oggetto del passato del paziente oppure un nuovo oggetto che permette il cambiamento?
. Cosa pensiamo degli enactments nel controtransfert: sono utili, dannosi irrilevanti o inevitabili?

Porsi domande sui differenti approcci clinici mediante il Metodo Clinico Comparativo aiuta a mantenere un’ attitudine dinamica nella nostra pratica psicoanalitica e ci permette di esplorare sia le differenze che il “common ground” tra diversi modelli.
Il Simposio è aperto sia a coloro che hanno già partecipato ai gruppi che a coloro che non vi hanno mai fatto parte.
Il costo per l’iscrizione è di 270 euro prima di gennaio 2014 e 320 euro dopo.
